Imogen went out to Nepal to teach English voluntarily for 3 companies - the ROKPA charity children's home, the Vaja centre of language studies and Kaju Lama's carpet manufacturing kindergarten, all based in Boundha Katmandu.
Positions are mainly based in Boundha, Katmandu, where newly arrived Tibetan refugees, Buddhist monks, nuns and trekking guides are enthusiastic to learn.
She hasn't seen any adverts for paid placements but will keep looking. The companies she is working for, listed above are always looking for new people to help teach.
