A Letter from Joanne Ruxton

Hi to everyone out there wondering if you should do the TEFL course. My advice - just do it! Here are a couple of photos of me with my beginners and advanced class in Renningen Germany. As you can see we are all smiling!!

So what's your question? Should you do the TEFL course? There is only one answer in my opinion.

Being what you would call a mature student at 40, I was worried about being out of touch but I felt 20 years younger during the course. I had a great time, met some great people and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I am now teaching 2 classes at home and have been asked to help organise an English club for 12 year olds. I am also giving private conversation lessons to a teacher.
